Washcloth Angel - Christmas in July!

Washcloth Angel

TerryGami, 15 Cloth Toy and Ornament Projects for Crafters, Teachers and Children

The book is now available in paperback!
The book is available at:

For the TerryGami washcloth angels, find the whitest washcloths you can find.  Some cloths can be a bit gray or dull.  You may be able to bleach them if they are, but I haven't tried it, so I can't recommend that yet. For smaller angels, use the 10" x 10" cloths.  The angels give a bright, heavenly accent to compliment the TerryGami reindeer, snowmen and Santa in the book.  If you are decorating the whole tree with TerryGami items, don't forget you can use the heart box as and ornament, too, and remember to put treats in it.

If you don't want to go to the expense of using a brass ring as the halo, you can use silver or gold metallic pipe cleaners for the halo. Dust the angel in fine glitter to give it extra sheen and sparkle.  Now there is glittered foam board and felt available, so rather than use sequins, you may want use the foam board and a small heart hole punch to make the hearts.
 Happy Crafting!
