Welcome to washcloth crafts!
The washcloth bear can be made with any color washcloth, of course.  A white bear with red accents can be a Valentine's Day gift.  Wal-Mart has packs of 18 washcloths for $4, which means you can make 6 bears with one package!  Use red acrylic gems or red glitter foam board for the facial feature and tie a red ribbon or yarn bow around the neck.

The heart boxes can be white, too.  Just decorate with red hearts and dots made with hole punches, and other fun foam board cutouts, or acrylic gems.

There are many things to use as treats in the boxes.  Small plastic toys like rings, decorative erasers, candy, fake tattoos, toy bracelets or necklaces. A very small toy car may fit, too.

Decorate a branch with hearts for a Valentine's Day tree.  Several bears can hang on the branches like koala bears!  Let's hope the new book will be available before Valentine's Day.  If not, maybe next year.  This year an Easter tree may have to due; hang baby chicks and Easter Eggs for the decorations. See the blog below.

Happy Crafting!
Terry
